Evaluation of sexual function and sexual quality of life in women during the COVID-19 Pandemic: the Turkish case

Background: Sexual health is an important component of general health.
 Objective: To evaluate sexual function and quality life (SQOL) in women during the COVID-19 pandemic.
 Methods: This descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted Turkey. Data were collected via a Visual Analog Scale (VAS), Female Function Index (FSFI), Quality Life–Female (SQOL-F) questionnaire.
 Results: The mean FSFI score 26.91±5.62, 39.1% had 26.55 or lower. SQOL-F 79.08±20.90. significantly associated with employment status (β=-0.661), partner education (β=1.698), compatibility between partners (β=0.518), satisfaction (β=0.230), fatigue level (β= -0.120), frequency intercourse (β=0.160). In addition, desire (β=2.625), (β=1.338), pain discomfort (β=1.274), age -0.356), (β=1.984), fatiguelevel (β=-0.981) (p<0.05).
 Conclusion: Less than half participating this dysfunction, overall SQOL moderate to high. These results some descriptive characteristics similar those reported pre-pandemic studies Turkey.
